The College of St. Scholastica

The College of St. Scholastica’s theatrical production of William Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” opens Friday, Nov. 3.

Directed by Mary Jo Sodd, Shakespeare’s twisted tale of confusion and slapstick comedy invites audience members to experience a whirlwind of mistaken identities and side-splitting chaos as identical twin sons and their identical twin servants, separated by a treacherous shipwreck at sea, unexpectedly cross paths in Syracuse. Without knowing of the other pair’s existence, the four men interact with each other and those who know them in a constant flux of misunderstanding and mistaken identity.
