Congratulations to the Class of 2024
The College of St. Scholastica will celebrate the undergraduate and graduate Class of 2024 with commencement on Saturday, May 11, in the AMSOIL Arena located at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, MN. This in-person celebration will be a traditional, seated ceremony with unlimited guest seating. The ceremony will also be live-streamed and available on the College’s YouTube.
Dr. Barbara McDonald, president of St. Scholastica, shared her highest congratulations to the graduates: “We are honored to be sending you out into your chosen professions fully equipped as thoughtful leaders, sharpened and sensitized by the liberal arts, and well-prepared to serve and transform the world. You have met this mission with heart, mind and soul. And you now become part of a remarkable group of St. Scholastica alumni who are making positive differences in the communities they serve.”
Dean of Students Megan Perry-Spears echoed President McDonald’s sentiments in a WDIO-TV article. “We get to see so much growth and development. It’s a joy to watch them. This is the final celebration as they go off and do the thing, that’s what this is all about. It’s a commencement for the rest of their lives.”
