Concerning the Coronavirus situation
The College of St. Scholastica is intently monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Senior staff are considering recommendations made by government and public health agencies, including the Minnesota Department of Health, the U.S. State Department, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the American College Health Association.
Though no cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Minnesota or Duluth, the College’s response teams are reviewing emergency plans, which include protocols for coordination with other Twin Ports higher education institutions, law enforcement and health agencies.
St. Scholastica’s leaders are committed to prompt and accurate communication with students, faculty, staff and the public regarding the developing situation. This includes advising St. Scholastica community members to be careful in choosing their sources for information going forward, because misinformation is likely to spread.
