The College of St. Scholastica’s Athletics Department is excited to announce the highly anticipated spring schedules for the participating programs. As the season approaches, we invite you to learn more about each team and their upcoming matchups on the field, court and track. You are also encouraged to bookmark the schedules to stay up to date and support the Saints as they compete in a variety of exciting events this spring.

Baseball

The baseball season is officially on deck with the Saints opening their season the weekend of Feb. 22-23 in a series against Simpson College at the Bettis Sports Complex in Topeka, KS. After that, they’ll head down to Davenport, FL, to participate in the Russmatt Invitational during spring break.

Local fans can catch their first glimpse of the Saints in action at Wade Stadium on Saturday, March 29, where the team will face off against the Royals of Bethel University in a doubleheader.

Golf

Saints fans last saw the men’s and women’s golf teams in action when they participated in the MIAC Championships this past fall. The women traveled to St. Cloud, MN, for the championship on Sept. 28-30, where they placed 9th out of 10 throughout the weekend. The men’s championship took place at the Braemar Golf Course in Edina, MN, from Oct. 5-7. Both teams look to improve their odds this spring season.

Outdoor Track & Field

The men’s and women’s track teams will hit the ground running on Saturday, March 29, where they’ll compete in the Optimistic Open hosted by Saint John’s University and the College of Saint Benedict in Collegeville, MN.

As the Saints gear up for a season of speed and determination, all eyes will be on the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.

Softball

The Saints Softball team is looking forward to an exciting 2025 season, determined to turn the tide of last year’s overall record of 8-28 and a conference record of 5-17. They’ll first step up to the plate this season at the Bethany Lutheran Invitational in Mankato, MN, where they will take on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Following the invitation, the team will travel to Barlow and Winter Haven, FL, and Menomonie, WI, for a series of competitive matchups. The Saints will return to Kenwood Field on Wednesday, April 2, when they host the Wildcats of St. Catherine University.

Tennis

Men’s Tennis serves up on Saturday, Feb. 8, with their opening match against Wartburg College in Minneapolis, MN. Meanwhile, their counterparts on the women’s team will also hit the courts on the same day for an away match at Bemidji State University at 11 a.m. and a hometown match at the University of Minnesota Duluth at 5 p.m.

After these initial contests, both teams will continue to build their momentum before traveling to Orlando, FL, where they will face off in additional matches during spring break.
