2025 Saints Sports Awards set for Monday, April 21
The College of St. Scholastica Athletics Department will hold its twelfth annual Saints Sports Awards on Monday, April 21, which will take place in the Mitchell Auditorium. The event was established in 2013 to recognize all of St. Scholastica’s student-athletes for their accomplishments on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
The semi-formal atmosphere will feature a student-athlete social beginning at 6 p.m. in Storm’s Den, which will include picture stations and snacks. Awards will be handed out for the following categories:
- Male/Female Rookie of the Year
- Male/Female Athlete of the Year
- Male/Female Team of the Year
- Male/Female Performance of the Year
- Male/Female Game of the Year
- Male/Female Career Achievement
- John Baggs Sportsmanship Award
- Male/Female Scholar-Athlete
- Distinguished Alumni Award
- Humanitarian Award
- Berntson Blue and Gold Award
Nominees for the awards are based on fall and winter sports during the 2024-25 school year and spring sports from 2024. The awards were voted on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), coaches and athletics administration.
