Lake Superior College and College of St. Scholastica students come back for spring semester
The spring semester at The College of St. Scholastica started on Monday, Jan. 13, marking an exciting time for the College as new and returning students begin their studies once again.
At the start of the semester, Eli Coon ’28 discussed the newfound balance between outdoor fun and academic responsibilities with Fox21 Online: “Yeah, I’m pretty excited. You know, we really didn’t have any snow over break. So we really didn’t have anything else to do. I mean, now that I have class, and now that we have snow; I’m pretty disappointed that now I have to go to class. But you know, it’s alright.”
The College of St. Scholastica and Lake Superior College are among the first local colleges to start the spring semester. University of Minnesota-Duluth students return to classes this Wednesday, and students at the University of Wisconsin-Superior are set to return on Jan. 22.
