The 11th annual Teaching & Learning Conference will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 14. The conference is sponsored by the College’s School of Education/Social Work and the Center for Teaching and Learning, with partnerships from the Duluth, Proctor and Hermantown Public Schools. Sessions will be delivered via Zoom for P-16 professors and teachers.

This year’s conference will begin with a plenary session by St. Scholastica associate professor, Dr. Matt Ridenour, entitled “The Inner Landscape of Teacher Identity.”  In addition to Ridenour’s plenary, 20 one-hour, interactive sessions will be offered, including:

  • Self-care Made Simple
  • Developing Scholarly Writing: Curiosity, Reflection, Dialogue and Model Building
  • Teaching and Supporting Multilingual Learners
  • The Eue Fellows Program – Panel Presentation
  • Avoiding Crickets in Classroom Discussions and Learning Activities
  • and others
