St. Scholastica names new director in college advancement

St. Scholastica has appointed Amanda Abrahamson Roseth ‘13 (MBA, MAM ‘15) as director of foundation and government resources. In her new role, she will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the College’s grant-seeking efforts, as well as overseeing the compliance of $25 million in active grant projects.

A natural relationship-builder, Abrahamson Roseth is excited to continue her collaboration with faculty and staff members. “The most rewarding part of this position is getting to work with a lot of people throughout the campus community as they seek out funding for creative, innovative projects. I love playing a role in bringing their ideas to fruition.”

Abrahamson Roseth, a Superior, Wisconsin native, joined the College community in 2011 as the campus visit coordinator before transitioning to the Advancement division in 2016 where she held roles as both grants management specialist and grants specialist. She was appointed interim director in August 2021 and stepped into the role in an official capacity last month.

The campus is also her alma mater three times over. Abrahamson Roseth earned her undergraduate degree in organization behavior, dual master’s degrees in business and management and a certificate in applied data analytics. Put simply, she said, St. Scholastica is her home.

Abrahamson Roseth succeeds Janet Rosen, the former associate vice president for college advancement, who retired in 2021 after 41 years of service and securing over $100 million in grant funds for the College. “Stepping into this role is the best way to honor Janet’s legacy and impact, and to continue building upon all of her meaningful contributions.”
