St. Scholastica’s annual literary and visual arts publication produced and curated by students within the College’s School of Arts and Sciences.
With over 1,000 submissions annually “The Freshwater Review” has been a long-running student-lead publication featuring over 60 pages of literary and visual art submitted by artists and writers nationwide.
Submit Your Work
Writers and artists are welcome to submit their work for consideration. There are no submission fees and select winners are eligible for three cash awards.

Current or past copies of “The Freshwater Review” are available for purchase. These are beautifully printed full-color journals featuring 60-75 pages of selected works from emerging and renowned artists and writers.
