After I'm Accepted ...

Congratulations ... you have received your acceptance letter!

So, what's next? Before you begin taking courses at the College, there are a few steps to complete. 

  • Complete your Intent to Enroll form. Information on accessing your Intent to Enroll form is in your acceptance letter.
  • Log in to Cor and complete the required Orientation - Transfer Students online in Blackboard.  Completing this Orientation will allow your advisor to contact you so you can register for courses.
  • Save the date for a required on-campus Transfer and New Student Orientation on January 14, 2016. Registration for Orientation will be open in October.

    Your student ID number, located on the top of your acceptance letter, is needed for registration (the 10-digit code that starts with "B"). If you no longer have your acceptance letter, click here to receive your student ID number.

Here are some optional areas to review before enrolling at St. Scholastica:

To reserve your spot in housing, we must receive your $150 housing deposit.  Payment can be made online.  You will be able to complete your housing contract after you've submitted your housing deposit and the Intent to Enroll form.

Almost everyone qualifies for some type of financial aid. To find out whether you do, you will need to fill out a "Free Application for Financial Aid" (FAFSA).

  • Complete the FAFSA (or Renewal Application) online
  • The St. Scholatica school code is 002343
  • A PIN is required to complete the FAFSA online. Request a PIN.
  • Changes in information for a processed FAFSA can be done online or by calling the Federal Processor at (800) 433-3243.
  • More information is available through the Office of Financial Aid.

Students who are born in 1957 or later and who are enrolled in more than one course are required by the state of Minnesota to provide the College with evidence of immunizations. The Immunization Requirements Form and Health History Form must be completed.

You will need to provide proof of health insurance or opt in to receive student health insurance. To show proof of insurance or opt in to student health insurance, visit the OneStop tab in Cor and go to the checklist located in the center of the page.

  • In order to receive VA education benefits, you need to complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). Our Federal School Code is 002343. 
  • Army/Navy/Marines/Coast Guard: Request official, sealed transcripts from previous accredited institutions, including your JST*, which is available at -https://jst.doded.mil/smart/signIn.do Note: We follow American Council on Education (ACE) guidelines. *The JST is only for service members, not for dependents receiving VA education benefits.
  • Air Force: Request official, sealed transcripts from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) at http://www.au.af.mil/au/barnes/ccaf/transcripts.asp.
  • Apply for federal VA educational benefits (VONAPP). If you need assistance, please contact David Martin with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, Northeast Region Coordinator for Higher Education Veterans Programs, at (218) 733-7604 or by email.
  • Submit Certificate of Eligibility, documents received from the completion of your VONAPP, to our Certifying Official, George Beattie. If you need assistance, contact George at (218) 723-6562 or by email.
  • Complete the Military Student Information Form. Most of the requested information can be found on your letter of eligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. For inquiries please call the College of St. Scholastica Business Office at (800) 447-5444 or 723-6092. When we use information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
