Any St. Scholastica student may enroll in aerospace studies courses. Air Force ROTC offers post-collegiate opportunities in more than 100 career specialties. High school seniors and college students can compete for scholarships that cover tuition, fees and book expenses.
For full-time students enrolled at The College of St. Scholastica, AFROTC offers four- and three-year programs. Most students complete the four-year program, which is tailored to students with three or more remaining years of college. A two-year program is available for students with two remaining years of college with approval of the Professor of Aerospace Studies. All students must be nominated to attend a four- or five-week field training camp the summern before the last two years of their AFROTC curriculum. Students are nominated for field training on a most-qualified basis. Students then enroll in the Professional Officer Course, complete their degrees and receive a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force.
