Welcome to SHAPE UP haping ealthy ttitudes toward ersonal xercise) - your campus resource for personal fitness! The WELLU at The College of St. Scholastica is excited to bring back this program for faculty and staff that has been developed with your personalized fitness needs in mind.

Whether you are looking for educational resources regarding fitness and exercise, need help in creating or modifying your current exercise routine, or would like to meet with an exercise specialist who can point you in the right direction, Shape Up is right for you! Your free exercise mentor will help you achieve your fitness goals by assisting and training you no matter your fitness level or ability.

Meet your Trainer! Jodi Tervo Roberts

Jodi Tervo Roberts Jodi has a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from Northern Michigan University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Licensed Zumba Instructor. She is the Founder of the Upper Peninsula Adaptive Cross Country Ski Organization that is now under the direction of a Non-Profit Organization. She has been a volunteer coach for Collegiate Cross Country Running and Cross Country Skiing, and heavily involved in the ski community. Last year Jodi organized the Wednesday Night Races for the Duluth XC Ski Club, and plans to continue her involvement. She has been an outdoor educator and guide for a number of years both in her personal circle and professionally. Jodi is most interested in outdoor sport/recreation for fitness, and cultural dance. She has been an advocate for health and wellness throughout her life, and is excited about expanding the WellU faculty and staff services this year. She creates a non-competitive and non-judgemental atmosphere, and strongly believes that it is never too late to begin. No matter what your ability, you are always welcome! She will meet you where you are at.
