Pursuing a music degree combines core musicianship with a liberal arts education, giving you critical-thinking skills with a well-rounded cultural and artistic academic background. A degree in music allows you to develop adaptable and transferable skills that can lead you to success in education, performance or other entrepreneurial opportunities.

Our courses in history, theory and applied study will guide your musical and intellectual development. You’ll receive individualized mentorship from our professors, who are world-class musicians themselves. Performing Opportunities

Join an ensemble at St. Scholastica to take your passion for music on stage! We welcome students from all majors to participate and perform at events on campus, in the local community and beyond.

Scholarships

Students pursuing music are eligible to apply for the Sister Monica Laughlin Music Ensemble Scholarship.

Financial Aid

100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of financial aid. The average for scholarships, grants and/or loans is $31,841.
