Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death and disability in the United States. More than 17.1 million people worldwide die from cardiovascular disease each year. The good news is many of these deaths can be prevented or treated.
To help improve the wellness and cardiovascular health of our St. Scholastica community, the Graduate Nursing program is hosting cardiovascular health screenings free of charge for all St. Scholastica faculty and staff.
Participants must be fasting. Nurses will evaluate the following:
Health Screenings will be offered from 7-9 a.m. on October 31st, and December 12th.
