1. Preparation

  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8

Note: Meeting minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.

  • No GMAT or GRE required
  • No prerequisite coursework is required, however students who enter the Master's in Management program should:
    • Demonstrate strong writing and quantitative thinking skills.
    • Have prior education in economics and accounting. A student without this background may be challenged by some of the Master's in Management courses and should discuss his or her situation with the program advisor to determine if preparatory courses are advisable.

2. Application

Transcripts required: B.A./B.S. transcript showing degree conferred, any post-baccalaureate transcript, and any transcript with prerequisite coursework.

Request official transcripts for receipt on or before the application deadline.

Must be in the original sealed envelope from the school, or from a certified electronic official transcript provider such as Parchment, Docufide, Scrip Safe, National Clearinghouse or other certified, online transcript service.

Please order early — transcripts can take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive.

  1. Complete the Online Application. You will need to use an updated browser, preferably Firefox, Chrome, or Safari (please do not use Internet Explorer).
  2. Upload a complete Graduate Management Programs (MAM) Essay (word or pdf).

    As part of the online application, the admissions essay should be written in essay format, address all of the questions below, represent your highest level of academic writing and demonstrate your ability to participate in a rigorous, fast-paced, graduate program. Revisions will be requested if these requirements are not met.

    Prepare a 500-word essay, typed and double-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman font and one-inch margins, answering the following:
    • What life experiences lead you to pursue a Master's in Management?
    • What leadership skills have you demonstrated in your field?
    • In your own words, describe the attributes and skills you feel are important in leading a business or organization and why?
    • What are your career goals and how will a Master's in Management support those goals?
    • Why did you choose The College of St. Scholastica for your studies
  3. In the online application, enter contact information for two references who observed and evaluate applicant's leadership competences or abilities. Recommendations from two different organizations preferred. These individuals will receive an email request to complete an online recommendation form, with an optional letter upload. The subject of the email will include "Please submit your recommendation for *First Name *Last Name".
  4. Upload a current resume in the online application, listing all education and work experience.
  5. Upon receipt of all application materials, the application packet will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review and the admissions decision.

If you have international transcripts or non-citizen status, you will need to complete the online program application and send additional documentation. Please see the International Admissions Policy for complete details.

3. Post-Completion

After you are notified a decision has been made regarding your application, log into your application portal to accept or decline using the Decision Response form.

As a college student at St. Scholastica, you get to take the lead in your own education and assume responsibility for your success. Please use our accepted students information page to help you along the way, and remember, your advisors and instructors are here to guide and support you as you proceed through your journey toward a degree.

You may be eligible to receive transfer credits for coursework you’ve completed. See our Graduate Transfer Credit Policy for more information and complete a  Credit Transfer Application Form. This form can be completed and provided to your program advisor and/or program department contact.
