Lighting the Future of Athletics

At St. Scholastica, we strive for excellence in every game, practice, and moment on the field. Now, we have the opportunity to enhance our facilities, giving student-athletes and fans a safer and more exciting game-day experience by supporting the installation of state-of-the-art lights and a new perimeter fence at Kenny Harkins Field to create a top-tier playing environment and protecting the space for future Saints.

Gifts to the All Saints Annual Fund provide critical support in the areas where it will make the greatest impact for current students and the long-term sustainability of the College.

Scholarships

Scholarships open doors for dedicated learners and strengthen the high-quality education St. Scholastica provides. A gift of $1,000 can establish an annual scholarship, or you can make a contribution to support existing annual and endowed scholarships.

Academic Schools

The School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Health Professions, and the Stender School of Leadership, Business and Professional Studies offer transformative programs that prepare students to lead. Your support funds experiential learning, technology upgrades, and scholarships.

Athletics and the Arts

St. Scholastica offers athletic and artistic opportunities that enrich the student experience, promote personal growth, and foster discipline and creativity. Donor support is essential to keeping these programs thriving on campus.

Student Support Services

Students thrive when they feel a sense of belonging and can access the resources they need. Gifts to programs such as the Veterans Center, Campus Ministry, Multicultural Student Services, and The Center for Equal Access help create a welcoming community for all Saints.

Gifts of securities often give the donor significant tax benefits. Donations of appreciated stock held for over one year are usually tax-deductible at market value, eliminating capital gains taxes on long-term holdings. The College’s brokerage firm is: Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Have your broker alert College Advancement that a stock gift is coming by letting us know the name of the company and the number of shares.

If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you know the tax benefits of establishing or funding your DAF. Please know that you will not receive a charitable deduction for making a gift from your DAF, as you received the deduction when you established or added funds to your DAF. Please get in touch with your DAF administrator and request that your gift be sent to the College using either the College’s address or the lockbox address.

If you are 70½ years old or older, you may make a gift to a charity by having the Trustee or Administrator of your taxable Individual Retirement Account (IRA) make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of up to $108,000 total – this gift is instead of you receiving your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). A QCD is also referred to as an IRA charitable distribution or charitable rollover.

Contact your IRA trust or administrator and ask them to directly transfer the QCD by sending a check to the College, indicating that it is a QCD rollover. Please use either the College’s address or the Lockbox address.
