Lighting the Future of Athletics

At St. Scholastica, we strive for excellence in every game, practice, and moment on the field. Now, we have the opportunity to enhance our facilities, giving student-athletes and fans a safer and more exciting game-day experience by supporting the installation of state-of-the-art lights and a new perimeter fence at Kenny Harkins Field to create a top-tier playing environment and protecting the space for future Saints.

Please know that you will not receive a charitable deduction for making a gift from your DAF, as you received the deduction when you established or added funds to your DAF. Please get in touch with your DAF administrator and request that your gift be sent to the College using either the College’s address or the lockbox address.

If you are 70½ years old or older, you may make a gift to a charity by having the Trustee or Administrator of your taxable Individual Retirement Account (IRA) make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of up to $108,000 total – this gift is instead of you receiving your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). A QCD is also referred to as an IRA charitable distribution or charitable rollover.

Contact your IRA trust or administrator and ask them to directly transfer the QCD by sending a check to the College, indicating that it is a QCD rollover. Please use either the College’s address or the Lockbox address.
