St. Scholastica's monthly faculty colloquium series will feature a poetry reading later this week.
Brady Kamphenkel, poet and adjunct professor of English at St. Scholastica, will share his poetry during an hour-long presentation at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in Tower Hall room 4119 on the Duluth campus.
Landmarks & Time: Some Poems will present a wide range of poetry from Kamphenkel. His poems' themes and forms will vary widely, with work ranging from his days as a master of fine art student and its attendant creative thesis to more recent poetry and verse translations.
The reading will be followed by a question-and-answer session. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided. The School of Arts and Letters Colloquium, a monthly lecture series highlighting faculty research in the SAL, is now in its 12th year.
