The Burns Wellness Commons offers students a wealth of fitness opportunities. The state-of-the-art facility is a 62,000-sq.-ft. field house complex that features:

Your home away from home
Somers Hall
Each room can accommodate two students and is furnished with beds, bookcases, desks, large closets, telephone and sink. Four-person suites are also available and include two bedrooms, living room and private bath. Each floor of Somers Hall has laundry facilities, lounges and kitchenettes. You will also find special study areas, a game room, TV room, and computer lab. Check out Somers Suites, too!
On-Campus Apartments
Upperclassmen enjoy apartment living and can choose from among a variety of facilities, including two new buildings that opened in Fall 2005. Each apartment includes living space for four students, a living room, kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms and a bath.
On-campus housing for juniors and seniors is on a space-available basis.
On each floor of Somers Hall and in each apartment building live Resident Advisors who are available to help you adjust to college life.
Staying healthy
Student Center for Health and Well-Being
The center provides confidential services and information using a wellness model that serves to enhance the physical and emotional student experience while encouraging responsible choices. A professional staff of RNs, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and master's-level counselors offers:
- Physical exams, prescriptions, and other primary care
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Physical therapy consultations
- Individual counseling for emotional well-being
- Information and resources for dealing with life skills, alcohol and drug use or abuse, relationships, stress, academics, and more.
Dining options
Greenview
Located in Somers Hall, featuring cafeteria style dining. Stations include The Greenview Square (daily special), Down Home Cooking, Sandwiches & Sides, The Gardens (Deli, Soup & Salad Bar). Click here for more information.
Storm's Den
Storm's Den is located in the Tower Hall Student Union and is named after our beloved St. Bernard mascot. It features a variety of ala carte items including grill and made-to-order deli sandwiches, a daily special, pizza, salads, soups, bakery items and Grab-N-Go selections. Convenience store items as well as other supplies are also available.
Java Express
Java Express is a specialty coffee bar located in the Student Union as part of the PORT information desk. A variety of hot and cold beverages are available for purchase.
