Information for Veterans

Military service has been an important part of life at St. Scholastica since World War II, when many nurses we educated served overseas. Since then, we've held a special regard for service members and veterans.

Today, St. Scholastica is committed to providing veteran-friendly programs and services to make college a smooth and successful experience.

A home base for veterans, St. Scholastica’s Veterans Resource Center fosters a sense of camaraderie and community among veterans, current and former military members, and their families. You’ll find a variety of resources to help guide you from admission through your college career – and beyond.

St. Scholastica is also part of the Yellow Ribbon Program, which means most veterans attend college at little or no cost to them. And with flexible schedule options, such as extended campus programs and online classes, you’ll have everything you need to get the degree you’ve wanted.
