A hands-on education for a hands-on career.
Movement, activity, exercises -- these aren't things you can study while sitting behind a desk. they're elements of an exercise physiology program that are best explored through first-had experience.
Our Master of Science in Exercise Physiology degree is geared to be an active, participatory program in which you'll spend as much time in the lab as in the library -- and learn about all the professional applications of exercise physiology.
Our program is designed to prepare students to access key positions in the health, fitness, athletics, rehabilitation and research fields and to empower them with the knowledge and hands-on experiences to make a successful transition into post-graduate work.
The Exercise Physiology program at St. Scholastica gave me the knowledge base necessary to work as a clinical Cardiac Exercise Physiologist. My education is put to use every day as I teach others about the process and effects of heart disease.
My professors proved to be the most valuable part of my experience because they care as much about me and my growth now as an alum as they did while I was a student. As a graduate, I continue to benefit from the education, experiences and relationships I built as a student in the Exercise Physiology program. ![]()
