Tables in the union must be reserved through the Student Activities Office or by e-mailing studentactivities@css.edu.
Requests for tables for student groups, CSS departments, and other CSS related fundraisers, activities, and special events will be granted free of charge, pending availability.
Off campus groups may be granted a table for any given day providing that the purpose of their visit is suitable with the mission of The College of St. Scholastica. Off campus groups who wish to utilize the union for promotional business purposes will be assessed a $50 per day fee. No cell phone or credit card companies will be allowed to solicit in the Student Union.
All table requests should be made at least 2 business days ahead of time to ensure availability.
Posting
Cork board strips, bulletin boards, and other posting areas on campus are for the use of CSS related groups and departments.
Postings have a time limit of one month. Plan your marketing efforts accordingly.
All postings for on-campus events should be limited to 10 per event. Student Activities Office Assistants will regulate the quantity in certain areas.
Off campus postings are allowed, but limited to the hallway by the Port Coffeeshop. No more than 3 postings per event will be permitted in this area.
All postings must adhere to the mission statement of The College of St. Scholastica. Anything found to be distasteful or offensive will be removed posthaste.
Advertising may not be posted on glass, wood, or painted surfaces. All postings should be contained to the cork boards, bulletin boards, and other designated posting areas.
Certain areas can be reserved for specific dates. The Showcase (near Campus Ministry), Display Case (near the Mailroom), Main Bulletin Board (across from Mailroom), and Banner Wire are all available to CSS groups and departments for advertising for events.
There should be no postings in the bathrooms. The Stall Street Journal was created to eliminate the need for posting in the bathrooms.
All postings are limited to one month. Office Assistants will monitor this by dating all postings and removing them on the appropriate date.
