STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE
Although the Student Health Service provides a number of services, there is no hospital or medical care facilities for extended or serious illness available on campus. For this reason, the College of St. Scholastica has established a policy requiring that students be covered with comprehensive medical insurance. Student health insurance is offered to students through the College. Health insurance is required of all undergraduate and graduate students registered for 12 credits or more. CSS health insurance is automatically applied to student accounts until the student submits the waiver indicating that he/she is already covered by another insurance plan. Coverage is available to students with 9-11 credits, and graduate students taking less than 12 credits and dependents upon request thru the Business Office.
