Fulbright - U.S. Scholars Program
The Fulbright Program, the U.S. government's flagship program in international educational exchange, was created to provide a much-needed vehicle for promoting mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries of the world. Fulbright grants are made to U.S. citizens and nationals of other countries for a variety of educational activities, primarily university lecturing, advanced research, graduate study, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools. The U.S. Fulbright Scholar Program sends 800 scholars and professionals each year to more than 140 countries, where they lecture or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. Mellon Fellowships for Assistant Professors
This is a program of one-year memberships for assistant professors at universities and colleges to support promising young scholars who have embarked on professional careers. Appointments will be for one full year and will carry all the privileges of Membership at the Institute for Advanced Study. The stipend will match the combined salary and benefits at the Member's home institution.

United States Institute of Peace - Senior Fellow and Peace Scholar Awards
Fellowships support practitioners and scholars working on projects concerning the sources and nature of international conflict and ways of managing conflict and sustaining peace. Fellows spend up to ten months at the United States Institute of Peace.

Women's Research and Educational Institute - Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy
WREI awards annual fellowships to a select number of graduate students with a proven commitment to equity for women. WREI Fellows gain practical policymaking experience and graduate credit as they work from January to August as Congressional legislative aides in Washington, D.C. Fellows receive stipends for tuition and living expenses.
