Whether you are Catholic, part of another spiritual tradition, are uncertain about your faith, or anywhere in between, Campus Ministry is here to journey with you. Throughout the year there are a variety of spiritual development opportunities for students to participate in. From small groups to Bible studies to speakers and worship, Campus Ministry seeks to foster a vibrant community of faith at the College of St. Scholastica, and we hope that you will join us!
Small Groups are small faith sharing groups of about 5-8 people that meet once a week for 6 weeks or more during a semester. New groups form each semester. Small Groups are facilitated by Campus Ministry Student Leaders for CSS Catholic and the Christian Student Community. Stop by Campus Ministry to sign up for a group during the first few weeks of each semester.
Big Questions Small Group is another small group opportunity offered through Campus Ministry. Want to ponder the big quesitons of life? You know, questions about life, faith, friendship, relationships, and the future... Then give this group a try. Groups meet about once a month and are facilitated by two staff, faculty, or Sisters. Typically new groups of first-year students and sophomores form each fall semester. Stop by Campus Ministry for more information.
Faith in a Flash is a dinner and faith-based discussion session that comes with a one hour guarantee. Faith in a Flash is offered periodically with a new topic each time. Past topics have included: "Faith & Healthcare," "Faith in Action" and "Staying Grounded." Watch the calendar for future opportunities.
