The 2010 trip to Ireland in September was more than I could have hoped for in so many ways. If we had done this trip on our own we would have missed seeing so many lovely, quaint places, and moreover we wouldn't have known enough to know what we were missing...and that, in short, could have been the real culture and beauty of the country. However, our terrific guide, Michael Nolen, with his wonderful Irish wit and historical knowledge gave us an authentic taste of that culture and beauty. All in all it was an amazing experience thanks in no small part to the attention to detail afforded us by the St. Scholastica Alumni Travel Program staff.
