Message from the Chair

 Opportunities are soaring for registered nurses. As the nation's population lives longer and more active lives, the demand for highly educated nurses has risen. To keep abreast of an expanding field, registered nurses are enhancing their credentials to prepare them for management roles and to stay competitive in the workplace.

 The College of St. Scholastica has provided outstanding nursing education for over 100 years, guided by its mission of providing intellectual and moral preparation for responsible living and meaningful work. For registered nurses, the completion of a baccalaureate degree can increase their marketability and income potential in today's nursing field.

The RN to BS Online Nursing Track of the baccalaureate nursing program, delivered fully online, recognizes what registered nurses bring with them in terms of education and experience. Our students receive credit for their RN experience through the development of a nursing portfolio.

As a registered nurse, it is imperative to remain up-to-date with information through lifelong learning. The College of St. Scholastica provides the next logical step to accomplishing this goal through convenience and the opportunity to build lasting relationships.
