
Overview:
The camp will focus on letting girls explore fun and exciting ways to use technology everyday. Each day girls will learn more about technology by completing a different project. They will also meet with women who have chosen technology as a career and learn more about future careers. The camp will be team taught by a computer science college professor and a graphic artist.

Project Activities:
· Create fun video games
· Edit photos of you and your friends
· Produce a video to keep on DVD
· Design a blog site
Time: Our camps run from 9:00 to 3:00, Monday - Friday. Instructors will be in the lab at 8:00 for early drop off and will stay until 4:00 for late pickup. The early drop off and late pick up is intended for work time on projects. Students will stay in the lab during this time until parents pick up the student.
Snacks/Lunch:
We will take a lunch break at 11:30 am for about an hour as well as an afternoon break. We will eat in a classroom area or outside if the weather is nice. No lunch service is available so students should pack their own lunches and snacks.
What to Bring:
Folder, paper, & pencil … and some creative energy and an enthusiastic attitude!

Location: The camp is held in the computer lab in the Science Building, room 1206 of the College of St. Scholastica. Drop off is best in front of the Chapel (number 3 on map). On the first day of camp, guides with camp t-shirts will be outside the Chapel to show new campers the way. A campus map is available.
