Why did you choose your major?

Computers have been my hobby since I was a child. I thought it would be a good idea to study something I enjoy so much. So far I'm very happy with the classes and all the knowledge I have gained.

Being able to help, understand and guide people is another passion of mine. My second major, psychology, gives me a good overview and start.

Do you do extracurricular activities; if so, why?

I'm involved in Psychology Club, Computer Club, Rotaract Club, Peer Advising and many more because these activities allow me to meet new people and expand my interests.

What are your post-graduation plans or goals?

I hope to get a job as a web developer after graduation. My biggest dream would be to work in a position where I could use both of my majors. I have not found one yet, but I will keep searching for it.

What are your best campus experiences? What will you always remember?

Living with other roommates is something I will never forget. Living with other people is a big challenge but it is also a great experience. I have gained friends for life.

Special projects/trips you participated in?

I prepared a presentation for the Technology Institute and I'm working on a Ruby on Rails Software development project. Preparing the presentation for the Technology Institute was a great experience as I had an impact on what technology could be used at our school. Ruby on Rails is a new project that we hope will help develop software to improve the use of technology at St. Scholastica in the classroom.

Advice for prospective students?

Don't miss out on some exciting things. You can join a club, or simply hang out in the Student Union and meet some new friends. There are free movies every month for all students with free popcorn and pop as well as Coffeehouse. A lot is going on here. All you need to do is leave your room!
