The Russian language and culture program includes three years of Russian language study with particular emphasis on speaking and listening skills.
To supplement this basic language sequence, the College participates in an ongoing series of faculty and student exchanges during the regular academic year with the
Petrozavodsk State University in Petrozavodsk, Duluth's sister city in Russia. In addition, American students of Russian may participate in a four-week summer Russian language camp in Petrozavodsk operated by the Petrozavodsk State University, or they can help host Russian students who come to an English language camp at the College in alternate summers.
