The Women's and Gender Studies Department offers an undergraduate Women's Spirituality Certificate. All students interested in spiritual growth and personalchallenge arewelcome to participate in the Certificate program. Although the focus of the Certificate is not specifically Benedictine, the mission of Women's and Gender Studies at The College of St. Scholastica is linked to the Benedictine tradition.
Certificate Requirements
Students participating in the Certificate program will choose their courses in cooperation with the Women's and Gender Studies Program Chair. Students must complete 16 credits of coursework and attend a Benedictine Immersion Retreat.

Benedictine Immersion Retreat (0 credit)
At the Benedictine Immersion Retreat, a weekend is spent focusing on the Benedictine way of life as reflected in The Rule of St. Benedict.
