Music

All CSS students are welcome to become members of the Saints Steel Band [M/W/F 2:15-3:20].  We perform traditional Trinidadian styles such as Soca and Calypso, as well as Jazz, Classical, and Popular styles while also engaging in community outreach and education.

Recently the Saints Steel Band performed before the September Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra concert as part of the School Spotlight series. The ensemble has also performed in the Virginia Beach (VA) Panorama Festival & Competition (Silver Medal), Duluth Bayfront Reggae Festival, Bayfield (WI) Summer Mostly Thursdays Performance Arts Series, Minnesota Music Educators Conference, Minnesota MUSM Day of Percussion, MN and WI TRIO Conference, and with the Miami University (OH) Steel Band.
