FrenchThe French language and culture program includes three semesters of basic French language study which uses a communicative approach as well as a series of courses to increase a student's knowledge of French life, history and culture. Several of the courses in the French sequence also count toward a major or minor in Global, Cultural, and Language Studies.
French Minor
The French Minor consists of twenty credits beyond FRN 1111 Conversational French I including
FRN 3301 Readings in French II
FRN 3303 Advanced Conversation I or
FRN 3304 Advanced Conversation II and
FRN 3305 French Composition and Correspondence.
