Dignitas Labs are exciting opportunities for first-year students to engage in learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom. The Dignitas Lab course offerings are varied and allow students to connect with CSS faculty, staff and students. These labs help to develop critical thinking skills and facilitate integration of knowledge and learning.
Requirements: Dignitas students are required to attend 4 Dignitas Labs (1 lab from each of the themes listed below) by attending two each semester. Each Lab is coded with one of the following themes:
After attending a lab: Students are required to fill out the Dignitas Lab Reflection form and turn it in to their respective professor.
Sign Up: Students can view the Dignitas Lab offerings using the calendar below. Please note that this calendar is updated regularly and new labs may be added throughout the semester. Labs with limited seating require you to sign up in advance. If no sign up button is shown, feel free to attend without signing up.
Complete Your Dignits Lab Requirement With One Lab: The Spirit and Justice Trip to Mexico and the Alternative Spring Break Trips (US or Guatemala) labs require a longer commitment and integrate all four themes mentioned above. Therefore, by signing up for one of these trips, your entire Dignitas Lab requirement will be fulfilled for the entire year! If you plan to attend The Spirit and Justice Trip to Mexico or the Alternative Spring Break trips please talk with your Dignitas professor.
