In order to support faculty in their efforts to make full use of available technologies at The College of St. Scholastica, the Academic Technologies Group offers many opportunities throughout the year.
Sessions covering a variety of technology topics and applications are available upon request, and Blackboard training includes options for webinar-based demonstrations, face-to-face workshops, Open Labs, individual appointments, and faculty-led sessions and showcases.
The following series of Open Labs are currently dedicated to support faculty during our time of transition as we phase in Adobe Connect. Wimba Classroom and Voice services will be discontinued in June, 2013, and faculty have been notified that if there are Wimba recordings they would like to retain they will need to download those files on or before that date. A pdf file including instructions for downloading Wimba recordings is provided here. Additionally, lab sessions will offer support for faculty who seek to archive and download their Wimba materials. For faculty located at the extended campuses, please contact us for individualized support.
