Your feedback is needed to help us decide the College's Learning Management System (LMS) of the future. As you know, we currently use Blackboard for our LMS. A LMS Review Task Force has been working this year to evaluate alternatives and decide whether or not to stay with Blackboard. The Task Force narrowed down the evaluation to two vendors, Blackboard and Instructure Canvas.

The next step is to invite both vendors to campus for open forums. Each vendor will have two open forums: one from the faculty perspective and one from the student perspective. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend all of the open forums. The forums will be held on the Duluth campus and on the web. They will also be archived for those who cannot attend.

Instructure Canvas will be on campus Wednesday, March 19.
Faculty Open Forum, 9:00 - 10:30, Tower 3121
Student Open Forum, 2:30 - 4:00, Science 3311

Blackboard will be on campus Thursday, March 27.
Faculty Open Forum, 9:00 - 10:30, Science 1109
Student Open Forum, 2:30 - 4:00, Science 1109

The LMS is key to a successful teaching and learning environment. Your feedback is invaluable to this process and ensuring we make the best decision for St. Scholastica.
