The College of St. Scholastica is offering its students, faculty and staff free therapy sessions with a trained therapy dog from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the St. Scholastica Library.
The dog Spirit, trained and owned by St. Scholastica mathematics instructor Donna Kirk and her daughter, St. Scholastica senior Alyssa Walker, will be available to play with and calm students, faculty, and staff before the hectic final week of St. Scholastica's academic year. More information is available at http://libguides.css.edu/dogtherapy.
Finals begin on Monday, May 7, although many students are already working at full speed wrapping up projects, papers and other scholarly requirements for courses. St. Scholastica's commencement will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in Amsoil Arena at the DECC.
