The College of St. Scholastica will host a concert featuring St. Scholastica's percussion ensembles at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Mitchell Auditorium. Tickets are $5.
The Saints Drumline, Hand Drum Ensemble, and Steel Band will perform at the concert, under the direction of Jeremy Craycraft, assistant professor of percussion.
"Join us for an evening of intriguing collaborations, unusual sounds and energetic grooves," said Craycraft. "This concert always features a variety of styles from classical music, to traditional West African drumming to contemporary pop styles such as soca, funk, and reggae."
Special guests include students from Merritt Creek Academy, the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and the St. Scholastica string ensemble.
