Centennial at St. Scholastica

Our centennial celebration is meant to honor the history and traditions that have shaped the College, and to look forward to a thriving future. Through events, publications, and this website, we will celebrate the hard work and diligence of the College's early leaders and allow their spirit to guide us as we continue to grow over the next century.

Stop by Centennial Central!

Centennial Central is CSS's 100th Anniversary Hub - your first stop for information, problem solving, trip planning and encouragement to come home and join in the Centennial fun. We love helping you and can be a knowledgeable resource about Duluth and traveling to our area, or we can take your bags and get you something cool to drink. We're here to give you a hand while you stroll the campus, catch your breath and remember the beauty of the spectacular college grounds, your friends, the awesome experiences of being a Saint.

We are open for business in Somers 190-E next to Parking Lot 7 where access is easy by ramp or three gentle steps with a railing.

About the Centennial theme and logo

Centennial Logo - VerticalThe centennial theme, For the love of learning, was chosen because it is one of the Benedictine values that guide the College. It was the love of learning that motivated Mother Scholastica Kerst and St. Scholastica's first students, and it is the love of learning that will sustain the College community going forward.

The logo features a representation of Tower Hall, an iconic building that is inCentennial Logo - Horizontal many ways synonymous with the College. Like the institution itself, Tower Hall has been, changed and grown over the past century, but it remains a touchstone for the thousands of men and women who have attended school, lived, and come of age in its hallways.
